YONGE SPACE GALLERY
Downtown Yonge B.I.A. is a non-profit organization that creates or advocates for vibrant area events, provides on-street clean and safe services, produces capital improvement streetscape projects and promotes the neighbourhood through branding and marketing initiatives.
On behalf of the Downtown Yonge community, the B.I.A. has opened its first art gallery, YONGE SPACE. Downtown Yonge B.I.A. was gifted the building on the corner of Yonge St. and Gerrard St. by the City of Toronto, with the request the lot would be developed to improve the quality of the neighbourhood. The gallery, YONGE SPACE, providing space for the Toronto art community and student exhibitions in need of exhibition space. Downtown Yonge B.I.A. invited us to present Made-Up Toronto in their second month after opening.
